Providing exceptional legal representation to our clients.
Clients can now pay their invoices or retainers online using an e-Check or one of the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. The Quintana Law Firm, LLC now accepts e-Check & credit card payments as a courtesy to our current clients. We provide an online payment option so that our current clients can pay their invoices or retainers safely and conveniently.
Payment by e-Check is the preferred method of an online payment. When filling out the online payment form, under the payment method tabs, be sure to select the appropriate tab to make sure you are using an e-Check or a credit card for your payment.
Current clients may remit payments by visiting our web portal:
For Invoice Payments & Retainers Payments:
A payment for a current invoice is for legal services and costs earned and that are now due. A payment for a retainer is an advance payment and deposit for legal fees, services, and costs. It is not a guarantee or an estimate as to the amount of our legal services or what your legal matter will cost.
This online payment service is for current clients ONLY. If a payment cannot be matched to an existing client, we will reject the payment and you will be assessed the processing fees. By using this web site to pay using a credit card or e-check, the client agrees to a credit card or e-check pre-authorization agreement to pay with a credit card or e-check for their legal services and costs. The client understands that they are waiving their right to dispute this charge with their bank for claims of services not received or other similar claims of non-service. A formal attorney-client relationship exists only after a representation agreement has been signed by both the attorney and the client addressing the scope of the representation and the appropriate retainer amount has been paid to the Quintana Law Firm, LLC.
Credit card processing surcharge:
If you do use a credit card to cover the cost of processing a credit or charge card transaction, and pursuant to C.R.S. 5-2-212, the firm shall impose a processing surcharge of 2.95% in an amount not to exceed the merchant discount fee that the firm incurs in processing the sales transaction. The firm will not impose a processing surcharge on payments made by use of an e-check, check, cash, debit card, or redemption of a gift card.
Please note that, due to bank processing times, it may take 2-5 business days before your account reflects your credit card or e-Check payment. e-Check payments are limited to a $5,000.00 payment amount so if your retainer amount is larger than $5,000.00 then you will have to break up into payment amounts that are $5,000.00 or less.
